Have you always wanted to have a ski lodge, but don’t want the cost or commitment of having one on your own? This is where the AAC shines!
The Australian Alpine Club is a federation of individual snow sports clubs located in the alpine resorts of Victoria, New South Wales, and Hokkaido. For a fee, you can join one of our five lodges and enjoy the perks of a welcoming ski community. One huge benefit of the AAC is that members of affiliated AAC projects can also book into the other AAC member lodges at favourable rates. This provides members with a great opportunity to ski in multiple different locations, surrounded by like-minded individuals.
When you join the AAC, you join one of the five listed clubs. This means you are a member of that club, and a reciprocal member of the other AAC clubs. The cost of staying at different lodges as an AAC member, along with any particular lodge requirements and details of how to book is shown on the website of each ski lodge.
Joining an AAC ski lodge provides a unique opportunity to enjoy both the financial and social benefits that come from joining a non-commercial snow sports club. All of our AAC projects welcome new membership enquiries, so get in touch with them if you’d like to find out more.
The AAC National division maintains a database of our members’ email addresses and mobile numbers for newsletters and other important communication. If you get a new phone number or email address, update your details to keep receiving contact from us.
This database is used for email and SMS purposes and is not the official membership database for any project. If you change your address or phone number, please advise your project.
The database is owned by Australian Alpine Club National Executive and hosted by ImpactData Pty Ltd. It may be used by AAC National or any of the AAC projects to contact you.
Please note, this will not update your details for the booking system. To update your booking system details, go to the booking system site for your club or contact your club’s Booking Officer.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we manage the AAC National division through Council and Executive levels.
The AAC Council consists of an Executive and delegates of each of the lodges. Each lodge elects two delegates, which typically means the chairman and president. The president has a vote plus a casting vote.
